Orange County Fair3. OC Fair –  Fri, Jul 15, 2022 – Sun, Aug 14, 2022

Head down to the Orange County Fair while it’s in town for one of the most popular summer activities.  Zillions of things to do, not to mention the legendary “Fair Food”.  Fried Twinkies anyone? Save your evenings to enjoy a concert at the Pacific Amphitheater right next door

 

4. Orange County Zoo

Get outside and get active by going to the Orange County Zoo located in the Irvine Regional Park. The zoo includes an assortment of animals to view, as well as a petting zoo for kids.

 

5. Heisler Park -Laguna Beach

Soak in the breathtaking views in Laguna Beach at Heisler Park. Take a look at the unique art sculpture. There is a dedicated memorial to the 9/11 victims. This piece of art uses a piece of metal from one of the New York twin towers.

Catalina Island6. Day trip to Santa Catalina Island

Spend a day at the world famous Santa Catalina Island, a short ferry ride from either Newport Beach or Dana Point.  And spend a memorable night at Mt Ada, also called the Wrigley Mansion.  You’ll need reservations plenty of time in advance. If reservations for Mt Ada  aren’t available, there are many boutique hotels that are close to the action in Avalon –  Catalina’s main town – with lots to see and do.
